Welcome!
Welcome to the online home of the Anam Cara Community.
The Community is a ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Gippsland, and is intended to be a community of people of prayer who seek to deepen their journey into God. We try to assist that journey by offering supports such as quiet days, opportunities for spiritual direction, a library, a newsletter, regular gatherings for learning and growth, as well as gatherings for prayer and worship.

The activities of the Community might be thought of as providing ‘waterholes’ from which travellers on the Way of Jesus can drink deeply.
While we come out of and value the various Anglican traditions, we welcome people from other Christian traditions and seek to experience what is rich and nurturing in other faith traditions. We’re also committed to providing a safe place for those who are questioning faith, or who find traditional expressions of Christianity difficult or painful.
Please take the time to explore our website, join in the discussion in the forum, use the resources, and access our schedule. If you would like to contact us, please feel free to use the contact form.
